2011 Jeff Scott Officiating Award winner announced

IHNSW (State Press) - Each year for the last four years, IHNSW Senior Official Jeff Scott has sponsored an award for a novice Official who has demonstrated dedication, effort and perseverance.

The award this year was presented to Brentin Azzopardi, a member of the Norwest Emperors Club. Brentin was chosen as the winner for his commitment to officiating. The award includes a trophy presented at the Annual General Meeting and a $1000 to be used to purchase ice hockey Referee equipment and other Officiating resources.

Previous winners of the award who are now experienced senior Officials include Marco Tomasello, Andrew Brunker, Jake Humberge and Lachlan Allport.

Congratulations to Brentin and all young Officials who are the future Referee's of our sport.
