Officiating in NSW

IHNSW currently has just under 300 Ice Hockey Australia Accredited Officials. Those 300 officials range from beginner linesman who have not yet worked the lines, to our most experienced International Referee Jeff Scott, who holds a Level 4 accreditation.

IHNSW does not have a shortage of accredited officials, but we often have a shortage of officials who have the right level of experience to officiate the games. IHNSW encourages all accredited officials to nominate for games, and our Referee Administrator will ensure to put the first timers with experienced officials who can teach them the ropes out there on the ice.
