Club Affiliation & Membership Registration
of Players & Officials
Registration Process
A member registering on-line will still be subject to
providing any required documentation such as ID and clearance / transfer
forms, before registration will be recognised by IHNSW.
All registrations must be submitted through an affiliated
club of IHNSW. Applicants must become a financial member of an affiliated
club of their choice by paying the appropriate fees as set by that
club. IHNSW will not accept direct paper registrations. Only ECSL
age players can register with ECSL. Registration is conditional
on club approval. Online registration does not guarantee you will
be placed in a team.
First time applicants must also
submit a certified copy of their birth certificate or their passport,
(driver's licence or proof of age card are also acceptable if over
18), certified by his/her Club Secretary / Registrar.
Players must be registered with a team playing in the
IHNSW competition. A team list accompanied by the relevant registration
forms must be sent together. Individual registrations will not be
accepted unless the initial team registrations have already been
sent, or a member registers on-line.
All Elected Club Committee members must have a minimum
registration of Non Playing Official Senior (NPOS).
Once the season's team lists have been submitted, late
applicants must nominate on their registration forms which division
and team they intend to play in.
It is recommended that a parent or both parents of a
junior aged player should register at the same time as their child
as an Active Volunteer, to assist with scoring and timekeeping.
This will help eliminate officials appearing on Game Reports who
are not registered.
All Scorekeepers and Timekeepers must be registered
Active Volunteers (minimum registration category).
Incomplete registrations that do not have full payment,
or are without supporting documentation where necessary, will be
returned to the club and no insurance cover or membership benefits
will apply. Clubs will have a maximum of two weeks to forward a
clearance after registration. This will also apply to on-line registrations.
Club Officials have a maximum of 14 days to forward
a completed member application and supporting documentation to IHNSW
before that member is regarded as 'ineligible'. An application will
only become a valid registration when the Executive Officer of IHNSW
receives the complete application - either paper or on-line (including
supporting documents), and relevant payment from the club.
Coaches / managers who allow players to play
without valid registrations will be held responsible for the illegal
player fine of $100.00 (No GST required). The team will
forfeit all points gained in that game.
The Committee of Management subsequently has the right
to reject any application at its sole discretion with the applicant
having the right to appeal for reconsideration within one month.
The Committee's decision is final, unless otherwise directed by
the members at a Special General Meeting.
In the event of a rejected application, a refund of
the registration fee may be considered by the Committee of Management.
